On Monday, we had our Advent Liturgy. Year 5 led the liturgy in the hall and all of the others joined from their classrooms by video.
The children read out Advent promises and Zuzia read a Gospel reading about Mary saying yes to the angel about giving birth to Jesus.
I put the Advent wreath together whilst Patrik told everyone the meaning of each part.
We showed actions to the song Awake, Awake and played instruments to the other called Come Lord Jesus Come.
We had a purple cloth as it was the start of Advent.
The liturgy made me feel happy and warm inside because Jesus is coming.
