We would have loved to have held an in-person Stations of the Cross service this year, but sadly, due to Covid restrictions, that wasn’t possible.
Instead, each class recorded a short reflection based on two of the Stations, covering all 14 Stations between them for all pupils to watch and reflect upon, responding with the words on screen.
The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ’s last day, then we move to the next station until all 14 are complete.
