Mylo compassionately set the whole school mission this week. What leaders and role models do we look up to and follow? Do we inform our leaders and role models that we follow their example? Are we thankful for the positive role models we have in our lives?

Year 4
– I thanked my mum because she made me dinner and she helps me;
– I thanked my family because they do a lot for me, and my siblings play with me and cheer me up when I am bored;
– I thank my mum and dad because they care for me.
In Year 5 we have many different people who we look up to as role models. These include Grandma because she is really helpful and kind, Mum who works hard to make us happy, Nana who helps me with different things, best friends help when I’m feeling sad and hurt, my aunt who is a special kind of doctor who helps people, Grandad helping me build things and my sister who helps me with homework if I ask her. We thank God that we have these wonderful people in our lives.
Year 6 shared some of the ways which they have lived out this week’s Mission:
Thanked mum and dad for organising birthday party
Helped parents around house with jobs
Helped dad at his garage
Messaged and thanked mum everyday for looking after him
Thanked mum for doing food for her
Thanked parents for looking out for him and helping him when he needs it
Thanked grandparents for looking after him and taking him to where he needs to
Thanked Daniel for giving money to help with something
Thanked parents and grandparents for helping her when she struggles
Thanked parents for letting him go to a hotel for his birthday
Helped grandad make dinner
Got nanna a card when she was in hospital
Helped mum by looking after baby sister

My sister who is really kind to me especially when I hurt myself
My Dad because he always takes me on nice journeys
My mum prepares a delicious dinner for us
