It was wonderful to welcome Father Gabriel into school for our first Mass of 2023.
We heard about Jesus turning fishermen into fishers of men and therefore into followers. Father asked the children how they could follow Jesus. Their answers included: by being merciful, showing respect, praying, being kind and helping those who are hurt.
Our Year 4 children supported with the readings and did a fantastic job.
We sang “God’s love is..” as our exit song which Father really enjoyed! Father was also impressed with how quiet, calm and respectful the children were during Mass.
