This week Year1 have learned about fasting. They have learned that fasting is not just giving up food. We can give up other things like our electricals and use the time we have spare to spend it with family. We have given up chocolate, pizza and our electricals for Lent to be closer to Jesus.
I have given up chocolate for Lent and on Thursday and Friday, it was snowing and my sister had a hot chocolate but I managed to resist temptation! – Amelie
