I saw first thing in the morning Sadie in year 5 help a child who had fallen over and dropped their water bottle, she ran back and helped them up. – Mrs Johnson.
I saw two children falling out and another child helped them make friends again. – Elaine.
I saw Theo let Evelyn play at break time when she asked if she could play his game. – Franky.
Yesterday in PE, I saw Theo fall over and Annie helped him up.
This week Year1 have thought about what it means to be a witness. We have tried to behave as God would want us to e.g. being kind to our friends, helping each other, being helpful at home. We have also tried to see the good in others and tell them we have seen God in them ð
I saw my mum bought my sister a cake for her birthday and I hugged her and said, “Happy Birthday!” – Helen-Jane
I have witnessed kindness from all the teachers at SJF as they have helped us and encouraged us with our SATs – Molly
George helped me with my hand and I looked out for George and included him in football. – Reid
I witnessed Lewis being kind to me as he helped with a ‘crazy trick’ in ping-pong so I taught him how to spin the ball. – Ioan

Kiedis always complements others when we are playing football, which makes people feel good, even though they may be losing. Witnessing this has inspired me to do the same. (Josh Year 5)
Lola was spotted picking up Lorenzo’s water bottle from the cloakroom floor and returning it to him when the rest of the class had walked by it. That was really helpful and kind.
Ryan looked after Ariya after she’d fallen and hurt herself. He stayed with her while she had some first-aid. He was very kind and compassionate.
