Yesterday Father Clement came to Bishop Ellis school to celebrate the feast of the Ascension. It was a beautiful occasion and all of the children read and sung brilliantly.
Some of the year 5 children had written their own bidding prayers and three year 3 children created their own Penitential Rite. The choir led the children in song and two of the members sung the cantor part of the Lord Have Mercy.
