This week Year 4 led our whole school Liturgy. We did a drama about the gospel reading The Good Shepherd and talked about vocations. Our mission this week is to spend time talking to people about what you feel you are called to do. Let me know how you get on with this.

Shamiso – I talked to Ella about my vocation which is theologist.
Alfie – I talked to Taylor about becoming a You Tuber.
Zayne – I talked to Daniel about becoming an architect.
Daniel G – I want to work at Epic Games creating games.
Daisy – I talked to Phoebe about wanting to be a baker who designs cakes and help endangered animals.
Sophie – I told my family about wanting to be a physiotherapist and practised by helping my brother who hurt his leg.
Year 2 talked about vocations a couple of times during the week and the children were thinking carefully about what they are being called to do.
Some of our class thought about jobs they think they would do when they were grown up. Ronnie thought he might be an archaeologist, Quinn though she might be a hairdresser because they are so friendly,
Tofunmi thinks she is being called to be a teacher just like Jesus. Possibly in this school! Jeremiah know he is being called to give his life to God. Molly believes she is being called to be someone who is liked. She knows she will have to be kind to others. Quinn thinks she is called to care for God’s world. Melissa said she is being called to be kind.
When we thought about who is calling us to our vocation, Melissa, Megan, Ralph, and Kamsi, said they felt they were being called to be disciples of Jesus or to live like Jesus.
