This week, our Year 1 class has been learning to pray the Rosary, using our beads each day. On Thursday, we took our beads into the chapel for worship, where the children learned which beads to hold for each prayer and practiced saying the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be.
Many children also joined us at lunchtime throughout the week to say the Rosary with the support of the chaplaincy team. It was a wonderful experience, helping the children grow in their understanding of prayer and Mary’s special role in our faith.
