On Wednesday 11th December some of our Chaplaincy team visited Help the Homeless shelter in Leicester. We gave out our socks as Christmas presents which were donated by children in the school and contained things like soap, toothbrushes, chocolate and sanitary products.
Niamh: I was amazed how many homeless people there were and they were all really grateful for the presents.
Hayden: We felt sorry for the people and we saw someone on our way back who was sitting outside the carpark.
