‘Follow me; Discipleship’
‘Follow me’ is the overarching resource, to be used in the Lent term, to explore the Bishop’s theme of ‘Discipleship’.
Within this resource you will find activities, videos, scripture and mission, which can be used in the journey towards Lent. The resource then follow the words from the Extra-ordo-nary calendar for the period of Lent, supporting you to explore the theme of Discipleship throughout Lent, using your usual weekly themes. The Call to Lourdes
Lourdes is a special place and some of our young people and staff will feel a powerful calling from God, either to go to Lourdes or while they are there. The experience of being there with thousands of other people from your Diocese is really special, whilst the experience of serving others is something which is humbling and can be life changing.

The Vocations resource supports you in exploring how we might be called by God and the different types of vocation that there might be. How could the thing which you are called to do, where you use the gifts and talents given to you by God, enable you to be a Disciple of Christ?
Preparation for Easter
You can use this resource with your young people to help prepare for the most important time for our Church; the Resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday and how we celebrate and live this out across the whole of Eastertide.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation, the opportunity to examine our conscience and say sorry for the things we’ve done wrong is really important. Lent is a perfect time to organise this within school. This resource will help you to plan to have the sacrament of Reconciliation in school, or to run reconciliation liturgies or reflections.
