Our mission this week was to look out for times when people are being left out or teased and to step forward and help others to make the right choices and to feel included.
Our Chaplaincy Team have shared their thoughts on this mission and how they have been living this out this week.
Paige- This is like the golden rule because Jesus taught us to treat others as we would like to be treated.
Ophelia- We need to love one another as Jesus loved us
Edith- I’ve lived this out this week as when some girls thought that someone left them out, I stepped in and tried to make them see a different viewpoint. This helped them to see that sometimes people want to play with others and that is ok, this does not mean they don’t like you. You can play with them a different day. This is living out the St Francis Way of Joy and Spirit because we are helping them to see the joy in life and not the bad.
Paige- When our friend was upset, we tried to comfort them by cheering them up and making them laugh. This really helped.
