Our Chaplaincy team welcomed Mrs Jones, our RE Governor, to school on Friday.
Together, they walked around the school with their clipboards and looked at the prayer areas in each classroom, looking to see that all of the different aspects were visible.
The Chaplaincy Team were extremely vigilant, with our older children supporting our younger pupils.
They were very pleased to see lots of ticks on their sheets with the prayer areas in school being very well looked after.
The Team met in the library after the Learning Walk to discuss what needed to be fed back to the teachers and identified two areas:
- To ensure scripture from the current Come and See unit is displayed
- To clearly show who the prayer monitors are
The Chaplaincy Team will undertake another Learning Walk in a few weeks to check that these two things have been done.
