This week’s word is ‘communication’.
We talked about the different ways we communicate: by talking, writing, reading, sending emails or texts and through our actions.
We heard the story of the Sermon on the Mount, when Jesus communicated with his disciples.
We discussed how the only way to share the Good News in Jesus’ time was through word of mouth and actions. They did not have the internet or television!

In Year 4 we talked about sharing the Good News through our actions and in how we behave towards others being more like Jesus. We also said that we could tell people about Church, what we like about going and why it is important to us.
The children in EYFS felt that they would share the good news by celebrating with their families and friends by having a party, telling others or make a song up to share with people.
The children in Year 6 discussed ways in which we can be better communicators. Exploring ways to explain our feelings and support anyone who needs us, through conversation. In doing this we are living as Jesus would like us to.
Year 2 agreed that we could share the good news by helping others to see the good that Jesus does for us and trust that the Holy Spirit will help us do this. We can say Peace be with you to all that we meet.
Year 3 talked about how we can share the Good News through our actions. For example we shared Good News by planning and delivering a class liturgy. We also share the Good News through daily prayer.
