This week’s word is ‘healing’. We talked about how healing can mean healing relationships, not just healing an illness or injury.
We heard the story of David and Mephibosheth whereby David looked after Mephibosheth.

We are all made in the image and likeness of God and when we feel broken, physically, mentally or emotionally, we turn to God for his mercy and healing. Every opportunity to forgive or to support others in their health is a chance to encounter Christ and we are all called to be active members of the Church who bring healing and the joy of knowing Jesus Christ to those that we meet, just like David did for Mephibosheth.
Your mission this week is to pray for the people who care for you when you are in need. This could be your family, friends, staff at school, medical professionals or someone else.
Let us know in the comments how you achieve this week’s mission.

This week EYFS have included friends, family and those who are sick or in need of God’s love and care in our prayers.
Year 2 prayed for family, friends and those around the world who are caught up in conflicts.
Year 5 prayed for those who do not feel safe and peaceful at the moment for many different reasons. We said a special prayer for children around the world who are in dangerous or difficult situations and asked God to protect them.
