In our Monday assembly this week we will hear the parable of the servants and what they did with the talents they were given by their master. We know that God wants us to use the talents we have to improve the lives of others. Pope Francis has asked us to help the poor in this “world day of the poor.” As we pass through this week our school mission is to use our talents to improve the lives of others at home, school or in the community.

How will you help others this week?

Through our Year 6 responsibilities, we have been using our talents to help other children in our school and to support local charities. Some of us have kept the library organised while other s have organised the PE equipment. Our house captains have been busy leading meetings and getting ready to raise money for our chosen charities.
