Before Christmas we asked students at De Lisle college to support the Mission Team in providing donations for the PACE foodbank in Loughborough; the response we received was overwhelming.

Each house was tasked with a specific set of items to collect and bring in which meant we were able to gather a variety of essential items for the vulnerable members of our local community. Your donations helped to feed people who would otherwise have gone hungry over the Christmas period, allowing them as a normal a Christmas celebration as possible. Two volunteers from PACE came to collect our donations and were truly delighted with the amount we had assembled and were truly grateful for our efforts.

These would not have been possible without the contributions of student and staff at our school. So from myself, Mr Agius and the De Lisle Mission Team we’d like to say a big thank you!
