Through an unexpected introduction from John the Baptist, this week’s Gospel tells how Andrew became a disciple of Jesus through spending time at home in conversation with Him, relaxing. This week we will be reminded that to get to know Jesus better we must spend time with Him – through reflection and prayer.
Our mission this week: spend some time each day in conversation with Jesus. How can we get to know him better? How would you describe yourself to Jesus?

I would describe myself a person that tries hard. Like a bumpy rollercoaster, sometimes I have good times and some bad times too.
I would describe myself as joyful, weird and sometimes a little. I would talk to Jesus and ask him questions about his personality to get to know him better.
I would get to know him better by asking him about some of the stories he tells in the bible. I would describe myself and quite arty, and enjoy history a lot.
I would describe myself as very energetic, very hard working and I think it’s important to be polite.
