‘“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they abandoned their nets and followed Him.’ (Mark 1: 14-20)
This week we think about Mark who was inspired by tales of Jesus that he heard from Simon Peter, and his excitement comes through in his words to inspire us and call us to follow Jesus today.
Your mission this week: Jesus personally called Simon, Andrew, James and John to follow Him. Jesus calls us personally to follow Him too! If Jesus stood in front of you now and said, “Come and follow me”, what would you say? What would you do? This week think about one change that you could make to show that you have chosen to follow Jesus.

I would say yes if Jesus stood in front me. I would be honoured to follow him but I know it would’t be easy. I would try and be kinder and more patient with my family.
I would help my mum around the house and if they were tired I would help. I would do more chores and be more gentle with my sister. I would try and not start an arguement with my sister and help my dad make the pizza. I would say yes but I know I would have to sacrifice things.Encourage people to pray. I would listen to my parents.
