‘Jesus led them up a high mountain and He was transfigured before them.’ (Mark 9: 2 – 10)

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus is transfigured and revealed as God’s son. This changed Peter’s life: he wanted to participate fully with God’s creative plan!

Your mission this week:

Last week we learnt that the theme for our Lent adventure is, ‘Pray, Stop, Go’.

Pray: During Lent, we are going to pray more

Stop:  Stop doing some things which take up our time, our money, or our focus

Go: Go out to others with acts of love

How are you going to participate in our Lent adventure?

  1. Year 2 says:

Year 2 thought about how they could stop, pray and go this week. There were lots of things they were going to stop doing during Lent. These included; giving up treat foods, annoying siblings and getting angry. They also spoke about things they could do instead. These included; going outside more often to appreciate God’s Earth, trying something new and saying prayers more often. They also spoke about their mission to give some money to Cafod with our walk for water.
