“Take these out of here and stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.” (John 2: 13 – 25)

Using this week’s dramatic Gospel story of Jesus and the money lenders in the temple, we are encouraged to think about Jesus’ response to injustice and how this can inspire our own responses to injustice in our community.
What can we do this week to continue our Lent adventure?
This week to tackle injustice in the World, our mission is to try and bring in one item to school on Friday, to donate to the food bank!

This week we have thought about how we can respond to injustice by living out the following things:
If someone in the class is wrongly accused, make sure everyone knows what actually happened so it is fair.
We donated food on Friday which helped us think about the injustice around food poverty.
By not getting angry when our parents are asking us to do jobs at home if our brothers and sisters don’t have to.
By keeping all of the families that have been affected by COVID in our prayers.
