Year 6’s Liturgy this morning was about The Last Supper. Everyone said a part and we really enjoyed it. They showed a video of The story of The Last Supper and how Jesus blessed and broke the bread and then shared the bread and the wine with his friends. They spoke about what happened and what Jesus and the disciples did. The thing we thought about most was that Jesus knew Judas was going to betray him but instead of saying it out loud, Jesus dipped the bread in the wine and gave it to Judas. We wondered why Jesus didn’t just tell the disciples who was going to betray him and also, we felt a bit worried about how Jesus knew it was going to be Judas. Jesus must have felt so sad. We wondered if Judas felt sad or happy and why they didn’t do a reflection like we do. We all thought they should have thought of some reflections.
This afternoon, we (Year 5) wrote reflections for the Stations of the Cross for our Good Friday Liturgy on the last day of term. We’ll write again.
