Today, on Earth Day, our chaplains took part in CAFOD’s National Assembly on climate change.
They heard about a big important meeting taking place in Glasgow in November, called COP26 which will bring lots of people together to make decisions about climate change.
They watched stories from Bangladesh and the Democratic Republic of Congo where the rising temperature has caused floods and droughts, destroying crops and driving up the price of food.
The poorest – those who have impacted least on climate change – are those who are being hit hardest by it.
On Monday, they will share what they learnt with the rest of the school in an assembly and will give every child a task to complete.
