The Year 5 and 6 Chaplaincy team have been thinking about how we can be peaceful and calm even when the world is stressful.

They want everyone to seek out something that makes them feel calm and, while they feel calm and relaxed, spend that time just being with God and reflecting on how we can all spread peace and calm in the world.

They spent a lunchtime doing jigsaws so that their hands and eyes were occupied but their minds were relaxed because this was something that gave them peace and calm.

Year 5 and 6 Chaplaincy’s challenge to everyone for this weekend is to spend some time doing something that makes you calm and peaceful – they suggested walking in a park, doing jigsaws, sitting in the garden listening to the sounds of nature or anything else that works for you and open your mind and heart to the peace and calm of God.
