John 20: 21-22 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
This week we’re celebrating Pentecost! After going up to Heaven, Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to the disciples and all who believed, to help them follow Him and to bring peace and forgiveness. This special friend showed the disciples that Jesus loved them even though he wasn’t with them in person. Children from each class acted out a drama of James and John telling Paul all about Pentecost.
Mission
To accept forgiveness when it is offered, regardless of how hard it might be. We should learn from our mistakes, say sorry, accept forgiveness and move on.
