After completing our RE unit – Pentecost / Witness – we worked together to plan and prepare our end of unit liturgy. As our focal point, the class decided to have one of their RE books open on a piece of work; a cross and – as it is the month of May – a statue of Mary and a set of Rosary beads.
It was agreed we would gather in the classroom whilst listening to Gentle Woman. The children involved in planning Lectio Divina found the music for us.
Natalia read the scripture of when the Holy Spirit was sent to help the disciples; Marek, Lucy, Amrik, Sarah and Filip wrote their own prayers to read.
Our response was: We give our hearts to you Lord. We then listened and signed to ‘Servant King’.

Chenia suggested we pass a smile. Everyone drew a smiling emoji and wrote who they would pass their smile to.
