To celebrate the month of May, the chaplaincy team organised a whole school Rosary. As we are in the joyous time following the resurrection of Jesus, they chose to pray the Joyful Mysteries. Each class prayed a different Mystery and then meditated on their thoughts, feelings and the things they wanted to ask Our Lady. The responses from the children were displayed on our Chaplaincy display boards in the hall so that everyone could see and share their thoughts and feelings.
The Year 1 children really enjoyed praying the Rosary because it made them feel calm and happy. Year 2 loved decorating the altar with flowers for Mary and spending some time with her.

The children all agreed that they would like to pray the Rosary more often because spending time with Mary helped them to think about how they could be more like her.
