Each class in our school have chosen a Saint to represent them. Mrs Atkins set us a challenge to find out about a Saint who inspired us. Then people in each class presented their research and we voted on which Saint we wanted to represent our class.
We think it is important to have class Saints because they can be role models for us and helps us to live life in the right way, to be an example to others and to get closer to God.
The Saints that we have chosen are:
- EYFS: St Elizabeth
- Y1: St George
- Y2: St Joseph
- Y3: St Mary
- Y4: St Emily
- Y5: St Gianna
- Y6: St Francis of Assisi
Each of our classes are going to let you know about their Saints, why they chose them and why they are important to them over the next few weeks.
