Our Chaplaincy Team led us in our virtual Christingle Liturgy joined by the whole school.
Each class were given a Christingle made by the Chaplaincy Team.
We started our liturgy by singing ‘Christ be our light’.
We listened to the Gospel reading from St Luke.

The Chaplaincy team explained what each part of the Christingle represented.
- The orange represents the world
- The red ribbon (or tape) symbolises the love and blood of Christ
- The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations
- The lit candle represents Jesus as the light of the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
We ended our liturgy by singing ‘O Come, O Come, Emmanuel’.
