Hebrews 12: 1 – 2
‘Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus [who is] sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’

This week we have learnt:
- what the Ten Ten Year of Pilgrimage is and we’ve been introduced to the ‘stopping places’ they will encounter throughout the year
- that pilgrimage involves prayer, penance, solidarity and charity – and what these words mean
- that we are all on a lifelong pilgrimage to heaven!
Challenge
How often do we accept the challenges from God and follow Jesus? As Christians, we face many challenges along our faith journey and we can look to the inner strength that is given to us by God so that we are able to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Think this week about the challenges you face and who you can ask for help.
Mission
Think about something which you find really difficult to do. (Putting your hand up in class, keeping your room tidy at home). Can you challenge yourself to do it this week.

This week Year 2 discussed challenges they faced at school or at home. We thought about and shared who are the people that help us when we find things challenging. Some people said they find dancing/ move in dance class a challenge, another said maths could be challenging, another mentioned doing their karate.
Our mission was to think of something that we find challenging and attempt it. We spoke about asking for help and never giving up as well as practicing to get better at our challenges.
