As well as saying special prayers for the people of Ukraine, the school community has pulled together to support in more practical ways.
Emily, a pupil in Year 6 who has family living in Ukraine, has made these amazing badges which she has been selling for £1 each. All money raised will be sent to a charity supporting the humanitarian effort in Ukraine.

In addition, Mrs Weryk, one of our Polish teaching assistants, has arranged a collection of humanitarian aid, including dry food, first aid supplies, nappies, sanitary products, toothbrushes and toothpaste and so on.
The school community responded amazingly and several car fulls of goods were taken to the Marlene Reid Centre to be packed onto trucks and taken over to Poland to support the many thousands of refugees who have fled there from Ukraine.
