Year 4 led this weeks Celebration of the Word and we talked about how the school showed Almsgiving by doing the Big Lent Walk and dressed up for Red Nose Day last Friday. This week our mission is to give up some time to prayer for those who are in need. Let me know if you visited the chapel at lunch or you prayed at home this week.

  1. Year 5 says:

Year 5 took some time to reflect on today’s liturgy and we discussed how we might put this in to practise…

We could pray for people who are sick and in hospital.
We could pray for those who are homeless.
I like going to the chapel and I have plans to go tomorrow. We play Bible games and we read extracts from the Bible too. We genuflect – we discussed what this means also.
I like to pray with my uncle who is sick. We pray to help him get better.
