This week’s word is ‘baptism’.
We recalled that yesterday was a special day – The Baptism of the Lord – where we remember when Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist.
We heard this scripture:

We talked about how baptism is a time of renewal and new starts and when we are welcomed into the Church through baptism, we are sent to go forth and to be more like Jesus.
We used the Catholic Social Teaching principles to talk about this week’s mission which is to do one thing to make you more like Jesus:

You could be like DJ and share your toys fairly with your siblings.
You could be like Daisy the Dove, helping to sort out any arguments between your friends.
You could be like Chikondi the Giraffe and sit quietly in class and listen to the teacher so that everyone can hear the teaching clearly.
You could be like Sofia the Sloth and pick up any litter you see and put it in the bin.
Let us know in the comments below how you achieved this week’s mission and which Catholic Social Teaching Principle it relates to.
