Mission: To thank someone who makes sacrifices for you

This week’s word is sacrifice.

The children talked about how this means to give something up and also how God gave up his only son for us.

We heard this scripture;

Here, Jesus tells his disciples that they will need to give things up to follow him – to make sacrifices, but these sacrifices will result in them living in love and will be recognised by God.

We talked about the people who make sacrifices for us:

  • parents
  • school staff
  • friends
  • other relatives

Your mission this week is to thank those who make sacrifices for you.

Let us know in the comments how you achieve this week’s mission.
