On Thursday , Year 5 led a Key Stage 2 liturgy about Remembrance Day.
We shared photos of the people we have loved and lost and remembered the love and light they spread in God’s world.
Year 3 and 4 children commented that it made them sad but warm inside to remember the people who have already been called to Heaven . They also wanted to thank all the soldiers who had sacrificed everything so that we could be safe and happy.
After the liturgy, Taylor led us in the eternal rest prayer and we had a few moments of silence to think about the people who had no one left on Earth to remember and pray for them and Maja asked God to look after them.
