Our classes are taking it in turns to hold their class liturgy in the hall next to our wonderful Christmas tree! This week, it was our EYFS children in the hall who set up a focal point on a purple cloth which included a Nativity scene. They were prayerful throughout and led parts of the liturgy themselves.
They had two candles on the Advent wreath lit: the one which represents hope and the one representing peace as last Sunday was the second Sunday of Advent. They turned the lights down to make it more prayerful and so that the light of the candles, representing Jesus as the light fo the world, could shine more brightly.
