Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd; I know my own and my own know me.” John 10: 11-18
During this week’s assembly, children explored what it means to be at a crossroads when making decisions. We heard the story of the Good Shepherd and identified why Jesus is our Good Shepherd who guides us. Children learnt that God calls on us to love others and that God can help us make difficult decisions if we listen to Him.

We can develop a deeper understanding of God’s plan for their lives through prayer and silence.
This week children were challenged to find a time and place during the week to be silent and to listen to God. How could you do this?

Spending time in my room with screens switched off. In my back garden listening to the birds. Praying in my bed at night. Being still. In the friendship area be on my own.
