On Monday 10th January, the whole school – staff and pupils – walked to St Wilfrid’s Parish Church for our Start of Term Mass.
It was led by some of our Year 6 pupils who led the readings and bidding prayers.

It was a very fitting service, praying for strength and guidance as we enter 2022, and also for health and support form the Holy Spirit. We also prayed to recognise our own gifts and talents and to put them to good use.
The children are really beginning to enjoy singing now that this is possible post-pandemic and their renditions of “Bread of Life” and “It’s me that Builds Community” sounded wonderful sung acapella in the church.
