Tom Shannon, Lead Lay Chaplain, led us in a reflective liturgy, revisiting all of the work which the children had done over the week about Virtues and Saints who had demonstrated them.
In the afternoon, some of our children and staff represented St Clare’s at a live-streamed Mass to celebrate the Feast Day of St Thomas Aquinas.
They took with them a cross surrounded by the fingerprints of every child in school – making sure that everyone was a part of the day.
Our pupils joined children and staff from the other 22 schools in the Trust at English Martyrs’ in Leicester. The Mass was streamed to all of the rest of the children watching from their schools.
It was a wonderful occasion!
