Today Matilda, Angus, Thomas and Martina from year 2 (Mrs Whitmore’s class) planned and led liturgical prayer in F2 (Mrs O’Brien’s class). The prayer was based around the theme Journeys. The children were invited to think about all of the different journeys which Jesus had made in his own life (all the walking he did to share the good news and heal the sick people). As this Sunday will be palm Sunday, the children then listened to a story from Mark’s Gospel of Jesus riding into Jerusalem. The children really enjoyed the singing and passing the heart around the class.
